I've always loved the Majorette Porsche 911 casting, the old one. Yes, they've modernized their current Porsche castings to look closer to the actual cars, but I loved the big, goofy looking wheels Majorette used on several of their releases. The Pontiac Firebird and the Chevrolet Corvette come to mind, and I have some of those in my collection as well. I'd never drilled a #209 before so when Hot Wheels released their "No Fuchs Given" wheels (my nickname for them), I bought a bunch of them for my wheel swaps. Turns out they look right at home on this casting and at the same time, makes them look less like a "toy" toy, if you see where I'm drifting...

IMHO, they don't even look like the same cars. I swapped the bases to match body colors. I'm not going to ruin them by trying to detail them too much, as I just can't hold a paintbrush steady anymore. I'll probably do the bare minimum and then screw or glue them together permanently. They do roll nicely, though

Nice! Those look really sharp. Do you still have Fuchs left to give?
