Back in the Kinja era, I posted a photo of an old Siku 911 Turbo I picked up at the flea market. It had been riveted together with the window piece out of place, and it had crap wheels. I reposted when I'd drilled it, added new wheels from a van, and fixed the window piece.

Years later, I picked it up again and "finished" it off with the new wheels from Mattel and fresh paint.

This has taken forever...this toy has been stripped, repainted, and stripped again more times than any other project I've tried my hand at.
