Hot Sixty 4th: The German and the Italian

I know we are approaching 6/6 in remembrance of the day the allies invaded Europe against the Germans and in some way their partner the Italians as well. However what is being shown are 1 German and 1 Italian made automobile that became famous for their air cooled engine.

Both of these appeared in a 5 car Air Cooled theme under the Car Culture series that was released back in 2017. This series unlike other previously released Hot Wheels premium like the Ultra Hots which I posted a few days ago which was discontinued, is still running and continue to attract collectors.

The Porsche 356A Outlaw is #3 of 5 and comes in dark blue with metal body and chassis and sports a chrome RRSeelie. This German made brand is considered a classic by many gearheads. I really liked the glossy dark blue color and although considered a premium series by Hot Wheels, this was the period I was disappointed that there was no more opening parts but they did not even include any painted detail at the front and back so you may have to add one yourself. I believe that due to complains by some member about hese issues, future Hot Wheels Car Culture now included painted detail all around starting in 2018. However moving parts were not included and are pretty rare these days.

The 60's Fiat 500D Modificado is #5 of 5 and was first released under this series and comes in pearl white with metal body and chassis and sports a chrome & gold MiniC4SP. The 500D model of this Italian made brand was made between 1960 - 1965 and is an updated version with a more powerful engine and improved interior comfort.

To me this car looks cute and I imagined it would looke even cuter in red, the pearl white also suits the car.
