Pop quiz. When someone asked you what’s the first coffee shop that comes to your mind most people would probably say ‘Starbucks’.
Question to collectors. Which die-cast company is well known for creating the most detail model and scale accuracy in 1/64?
TLV originally started by releasing vintage 50s and 60s Japanese cars in 1/64 and later on it started expanding to other decades. I was surprised when I stumbled upon this while scrolling thru an online store.
Doing more research I found out that TLV is also reproducing models that appeared in a Japanese police drama series called ‘Western Police’. It is almost like the screen time series from Hot Wheels. It comes in a box that allows you to flip the cover to show you a window display. This is their 12th volume and is the only one that wasn’t a car. I love the detail they put in this model. It also comes with a track that fits in the same box and I wished they would also sell separate railroad tracks so I can expand the length. This was released in June 2014
One feature it has is you can move the arm pantograph up and down.
Here I used all TLV brand models to show that each size is made differently to mimic the 1:1 scale.
