It’s been a while since I bought some new TLVs and what caught my attention is the addition of some cool features.
Before showing off the features here are some info about this casting. Released in May 2024 by Tomytec as the LV-N 312a Nissan Caravan Camping Car, this comes with the usual clear plastic padding and no separate side mirrors.
This 1973 van is really made for camping as it even comes with a high top
Unlike their previously released mini vans like the Toyota TownAce this comes with 2 opening parts which is rare in the TLV world.
It has the sliding door.
It also has an opening lift gate which is probably the first for a TLV. My complain is the slight resistance when opening which made me worried that something might break.
The box also has an illustration of the opening parts. However the usual suspension that comes with TLVs is not available for this model.
Check out the interior. It has seats and what possibly could be a sink.
For veteran collectors of TLV you will notice the art work on the box was change. On the right is the former design.
As usual the price of a TLV is expensive but the detail is top notch. If you still enjoy classic stock JDM, this one is not to be missed.
