Hello dear LaLDers! It is almost the end of the year again, so I will close the 2024 with some lists again. The last time I created a post was actually the end of last year, so my 2022's plan - to make more posts - has absolutely fallen. There are several reasons for that, which I might elaborate later, we'll see. What matters is to end this year with some traditional Toplists. Disclaimer: I handle these top 10 lists very loosely, so usually these lists contains more then 10 cars :D sorry about that, but I hope you won't mind. This list will contain (~)10 cars, which I want to add to my collection. It will be unordered, so I just throw more or less ten cars to this list as it comes to my mind, and we will see next year how many I managed to get! Another sidenote: since my 2023 top wanted list almost fully unfullfilled - as I managed to get only 2 models from it - I could copy paste that list here. But I won't. You deserve it to have a new list from me, I need to work on it since I haven't posted anything else :D . This year I add more approachable models to the list, just to be able to cross out more cars from it next year.
With that said, let's start the list:
#1: AutoART Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV Veloce

I mentioned this car earlier in my Biggest Fumble's list. That is why I put it here and now on my wishlist as well, hoping that at least some items can be crossed out next year.
#2: Anything Flatbed

For more photos around the garage, I should purchase a flatbed truck which can carry all my purchased car back to my base. I realised that aren't many flatbeds in 1/43 scale, so the winner probably will be the Mercedes-Benz L608 truck from IXO. This looks a decent, well detailed flatbed truck for the purposes I need.
#3: IXO Volvo 242 Turbo

Maybe this car was on my 2022 wish list as well, I don't remember. But I love great vintage volvos, and this one is a very sick one, that is for sure. Unfortunately, this model is even more expensive looking at IXO standards, so it is hard to find one with decent price.
#4: Kyosho Ferrari F50

This will be the only car I save from my 2023 wish list, I promise :D. But I still want this bad boy. So much so I almost bought a Minichamps version but then I stopped myself. The Minichamps version is good, but I want the best.
#5: Ebbro Lotus Type 62

After the news of Ebbro's bankrupty, a lot of sellers started to upload their haul on the remaining models from the company's carcass. Which I don't mind, as this way I was able to purchase a lot of their models in a very decent price. But this made me wondering what other Ebbro models actually exist, and I found out there are a lot of other cars which I want to add to my collection, cars I never heard of before. One of them is this Europa based Type 62 prototype racecar. I hope this car will emerge from the void to some of these seller's lineup soon, so I can grab one, as this car looks very exciting, and very mean.
#6: Oxford Daimer SP250 Dart

I tried to pick a lot of different manufacturer to this list. One of the often disregarded brand is Oxford, I think, who actually produces a lot of different british cars. This Daimler SP250 is I think one of the strangest looking british roadster from the sixties, definitely something I want to add to my garage!
#7: Minichamps/Neo Scale Maserati Mistral

The Mistral is something I am particularly looking for a long time. It is a great grand tourer, a lovely looking italian piece, and you know I love (LOVE) italian cars. A lot of other brands also came up with their interpretation of the Mistral, but I think the Minichamps and Neo Scale versions are the best regarding delicate details and proportions.
#8: Neo Scale Monteverdi 375S

Another italian GT, and a brand which I haven't purchased yet: Monteverdi. It would be yet another brand in my wide variety of interest, I looking for this car for a very long time, lost some auctions over this car. Still, one day I find you, I know...
#9: Premium X Lancia Stratos Zero

Not just italian, but a concept car, and a WEDGE CAR. Definitely has place in my collection. I didn't know which one I should pick to this list, this Lancia or the Dome Zero by Ebbro. But there's already an Ebbro on this list, and the Dome Zero will be something I will probably never even able to find, not to mention purchasing it. This, on the other hand... might will be visible at least. I think I already saw it somewhere, but it was silver... I think I want this more in this original dark orange colour.
#10: Spark Bizzarrini A3S/ Iso Grifo

Last, but not least, one of my holy grails, a thing which I pursue for a very long time now: a Bizzarrini. This car is so expensive that I couldn't able to grasp yet, though I saw it several times here and there. I don't mind already if I could reach out to an og A3S or the Iso Grifo type of it, I just need it anyhow.
Hope you liked that list. What are your wishes for next year? Please let me know in the comments, and wish you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year fellas!
Thank you for reading! Cheers!
These are all great! I especially love the Lotus, Monteverdi, and Stratos Zero
WOW you have good taste!!!
for #9 you should have but "THE WEDGE CAR" since it was the first that ushered in the wedge area
What's your estimate $$$ for all of these? I don't think they are going to be very cheap!! LOL Good luck collecting them all this coming year!
