GPMdiecast's 2024: Top 10 cars I purchased

Hello dear LaLDers! It is almost the end of the year again, so I will close the 2024 with some top 10 lists of my own. I want you to know: I handle these top 10 lists very loosely, so usually these lists contains more then 10 cars :D sorry about that, but I hope you won't mind.

This list will contain (~)10 cars, which I bought this year. This list is mostly ordered, which means I will start from 10th and going to the 1st.

Let's start the list:

#10: Ebbro Costin Nathan London

Ebbro's bankrupty was a news bit shocking to me. Mainly because I've heard about it a half year after it actually happened, because someone wrote at me that there is a site where there are a lot of 1/43 selling on half-price. This was a perfect occasion for me to buy some models for me, and that was the exact point when I figured out that Ebbro made some really special cars. Cars like this Costin Nathan british racecar. When I first saw it I known, that I need this, as I really like rare, special cars noone has ever heard. Although it has some issues (the burr around all the wheels, and the tyres were stuck to the base), I really like this one. But, I should've wait for a couple days as the aformentioned site uploaded the british racing green version two days after I ordered this :D

#9: Minichamps Cadillac Series 62 Saoutchik Cabriolet

Art Deco all the way! I wasn't realized this is actually a Cadillac until I've won the auction for it. But this car is so strange I don't mind it has american genes under the suit. So eclectic I couldn't do anything but love it.

#8: Minichamps Alfa Romeo 6C 2500SS Corsa Spider

This one I found at the toycar market for a quite high price (around 40€), but considering you cannot find it on ebay below 80-100€, I think it was a catch still. Long awaited model from my wishlist.

#7: Neo Scale Bentley Continental SIII Mulliner Park Ward

It was a secret goal to be able to win this Bentley this year, and I made it. Not just this, but the S II Cabriolet version too. I think this is the most beautiful Continental version ever made, but I usually like the double horisontal headlights.

#6: LuxBeta OSCA MT4 1350

This was quite a surprise for me this year, as I haven't heard about the brand itself before (probably a high lined Starline). When I received it, there was a nice little box, a wooden base and to be honest, the model itself is quite heavy, assumpting there is actually a metal chassis under this thing. Beautiful details inside and outside, lovely piece overall.

#5: Avenue43 Cisitalia 202 B Abarth Allemano Berlinetta

My first Avenue43 model, a lovely Cisitalia. Italian, of course, so we know I love it. And I saw this thing first at a toy fair with a high price, but I managed to buy it on a reasonable price through ebay. One of the pieces which arrived luckily in one, without anything broken down during shipping.

#4: KESS De Tomaso Zonda

My first KESS model (to be honest, a lot of first I was able to check out this year). I've never heard of this De Tomaso concept, and I had luck winning it on an auction. I thought my De Tomaso collection will stop at two pieces (Pantera and Mangusta), but here is the third one to the crown, and it is really cool looking one. I am kinda sad that it didn't make till production.

#3: Autocult Talbot Lago T26 Grand Sport Coupe FF

It wasn't my first Autocult model (that was the TVR I mentioned in the post earlier), but definitely the first one which arrived in one piece. Although the chrome pieces are somehow wrinkled, the car itself is so amazing I can forgive this. It is a so rare, interestingly shaped, weird little car - I mean, it is actually huge, but it is just a modelcar -, with three headlights make it looking like some kind of cucloptic bug.

#2: Matrix Aston Martin DB3S Fixhead Coupe

This one came in the same box as the Cisitalia, but wasn't that lucky, as the exhaust were broken off. Anyway, this black, Fixhead coupe with the convex front fender makes it so special looking for me. I mean, look at this thing! :D

#1: CMF Delahaye 135M Figoni Falaschi

This was an absolute blast for me. It is not a young casting I think, as mainly the interior of this model is quite vintage looking, with the textures of the vignettes. Still, it came with a wooden box, and it is quite heavy as well. And there are nice details around the car as well, but the car itself is a very strange looking, Art Deco style oceanic creature. My first CMF model, hopefully not the last one (it is not. I managed to buy a Packard Super Eight...). It is the best of my Concours D'Elegance collection, the rarest thing I thought I would buy.

What did you add to your collection this year? What was the thing you most proud of? Let me know in the comments and have a happy rest of the year!

Thank you for reading! Cheers!
