Though I already put these pictures in a Forum post, I would like to share it again here, if you don't mind. I created some thematic weeks in the last months on Instagram, and they... weren't such a huge hit, to be honest. Maybe it is quite boring after a couple of days, and people like to see more diverse car lineup from day to day. Although, as I see a load of R34 posts, and Supras, and other JDMs, this theory has weak legs, to say... Anyway! First, I will put here the Modern Katana Week pictures, which I posted on my insta! This carbon livery RC F is the better one from kyosho imho.
Kyosho CAR.NEL Lexus LC500h Did you know that this blue colour is actually a mimic of some butterflies mechanism, which, if you watch under the microscope, reveals that it is not actually blue? It just the surface structure which reflects the light so you see as it is blue, but it really isn't.
StanceHunters Lexus LF-A This LF-A is one of the most expensive bit of my 1/64 collection, but i think it worth it. The baby blue colour is stunning. I would like to hear the V10 screaming irl.
Kyosho Honda NSX An absolut worthy car for the term Modern Katana. Though it wasn't a huge success, I would accept it in my garage if they give it to me as a gift :D.
Kyosho Mazda MX-5 The latest iteration of the Miata is hands down the most beautiful one. And with the hardtop version it is really a great successor of the 60's brittish small coupes, such as an MGB GT. The proportions are spot on. Definitely a pocket tourer i would pick anytime.
