Hello Guys and Gals!
I want to share some pics with you about my themed week, this time it is the British Exotics!
Kyosho Jaguar XJ15
Proper street legal Le Mans prototype! I would like to have one irl. I think Kyosho nailed it with this model, it is quite a shame that it is so overlooked cause it is not a JDM or a modern exotic car.
Kyosho TVR Tuscan S
TVR is such a rarity, not just in 1/64 scale but in every one in general. TVR had a lot of good looking cars in the 60's and 70's, but the more modern ones had an alien like aesthetic which was quite strange and exciting in their era. Tuscan S was no exeption, with its eel-like, sleek, well-rounded carozzeria, which overshadows the otherwise very good GT-esque proportion.
Kyosho Jaguar XJ220
What a great example of a supercar! It is so lovely, with it's asymmetrical side mirrors (you can see something similar on the MiniGT Ford GT for example), that I already bought an 1/43 size of it. I think it is a car which should have place in every car enthusiast's garage!
Kyosho Aston Martin Vanquish
Sir Ian Callum's one of the best lines! The bulky, sensual rear portion of this car, the proper GT scales and the rounded contour gives us a perfect example of an eye-pleasing sport-tourer.
Kyosho McLaren 650S and MiniGT McLaren Artura
This one is an exeption, because I got the Artura from one of the hungarian site. I wanted to put these cars together to see the differences and similarities. The Kyosho has a plastic base, while MiniGT is full metal and so it is heavier. The plastic, rubber-like side mirrors are still a good idea from them, i don't know why other manufacturers not using this. But I think this old Kyosho can stand aside the new MiniGT without any bad feeling, qualitywise there's nothing to be ashamed for.
Thank you for checking these pictures, hope you liked it!
Cheers!
