None of the cars in this post have been repainted. White walls were made with a vinyl cutter. Rocker panel trim was made using bare metal foil everything else was painted with a chrome paint pen!
Decals are from
Final version of all 4
HOT Wheels from a special anniversary set. The front grille actually came painted yellow and I used a wire brush to remove the paint. I think with the decals on the side it looks SOOOO much better!!!!
Hot Wheels main line, stock decals removed with dry erase marker
Majorette main line, grille and license plates were all hand painted
Older main line Hot Wheels that came without any decals. I painted the bumpers chrome, they were originally black as you can see below
COOL!I'd like to know how the vinyl whitewalls look up close, in person. I've always loved whitewalls, even as a kid. Whitewalls with baby moons is about the best combination I can think of.
I just finished my first '57 Chevy "custom," just a wheel swap, paint stripped, and lightly detailed. It's for a friend of a friend in Australia
